I have had some 'dealings' with a woman who i care for but there are many complications, this has been playing on my mind alot recently. I know this is going to sound rubbish but this is as much as im willing to say at this time due to the sensitivity of the situation! Lets just say I have done the right thing by her, if not by myself. Now that i have spent half a page telling you nothing, i will tell you about the holiday i have just come back from! I went to Cabo Roig in Spain, 50km south of Alacante. It was a really nice week, although Cabo Roig is a bit of a dump. I went with my friend Al and my other mate P and his girlfriend. The first night we went to the bar next door and got really drunk! The great thing about Spain is that they give you quadrouple measures on spirits! I ended up singing kareoke for the first time ever, the first song i did went very well, the problem being that i apparantly went up another 4 times! Don't remember that but im guessing it wasn't genius! The bad thing about the area is that you get a lot of drunk middle aged brit golfers acting like fucking pricks. Throwing glasses, getting into fights, molesting 18 year olds. It was a sight to behold and has left me with some wounderful memories! Anyway when we didnt have to look at there brainless faces it was a good trip. Highlight of the holiday - Go-carting! Really good fun!
Recently i have been spending at least 1 night a week sleeping with a femail friend of mine, and i mean sleeping with in litteral scence. It has happend regulaly for the last month and a half and it has become routine, friday pub after work, back to her's to have a smoke go to bed. But i have started questioning how healthy this really is. I am currently single and would not mind meeting someone, so i'm obviously at a place in my life where companionship is something i crave. There is no chance me and this lady are going to get it together based on many things, such as neither of us want to, so im asking myself if this co-dependance is a good or bad thing. If you spend the night with someone it is the second most intamate you can be, after sex, and possibly in a lot of cases it is more intimate and i dont think creating this kind of bond, where you miss someone, even though you don't want anything from the relatonship, is a good idea. I also think you can fall in to a comfert zone, where because you get that small hit of companionship, you no longer are that botherd about meeting someone and getting in a propper relationship. I have therefore made a decision to go cold turkey for a few weeks and what happpens (difficult with booze normally involved). I am also interested to see what her reaction will be, as im not going to say what im doing, im just going to not go to hers! I'll keep you posted.

Well this is a message to everyone to let them know i wont be interested in buying anything from them, i make my own clothes and live in a cave, powering my computer by a dynamo attached to an exercise bike, so have no need for material possetions. So i would not waste time trying to sell me ANYTHING! Just thought i'd get that strait.

Woo Hoo! PAyday looms and i am getting the fuck outa dodge (Brighton) and going for a night out in....Guildford? Now if you can stop laughing for a second let me explane. I have been going out in Brighton since i was 16 so i have had 7 years of the same clubs, which i am now sick of! Now i know your probably saying 'Oh, you have no idea Chris, in Maistone where i come from there are only 2 clubs, Brighton has over 40 clubs. I'm sick of your complaining'. And to an extent you would have a point. The problem with living in a 'Party' town is that you tend to overkill as soon as you can get into clubs (fake NUS and the gift of the gab a must) so you spend 5 years going out ever other night. This unfortunately leads to 'Clubbing Burnout Syndrome' which is when you become tired of clubbing at the age of 21/22. So the only way to remidy this is by upping the anttie and going out in diffrent places where you don't know anyone (except whoever you went with in the first place, unless you are a solo clubber or one of those strange old men who stand by the bar with a bottle of Champagne leering at the young women!). Guildford was not really on my 'Map of places to go out' but a friend at work is going there to see a friend who lives there and i was invited to tag along and thought 'Why not'! So if anyone knows guildford and has advise on where the cool kids hang out, or there are cheep drink (not Weatherspoons or Yeates) then let me know. Nice one Peeps. Guildford Baby, Guildford!

I had one this weekend due mainly to its proximity to payday i.e. payday soon, me brassick (broke for those sukkas not from the streetz). They really bring home how much of our lives we waste/wish away. Who doesn't spend half there time wishing it was next week/next month/Holiday time! There is always something better just around the corner, you just have to sit out the time until then. It seem like such a waste of life to me, and im the worst at it! Can't wait for the weekend, next weekend, payday! So you spend your time sitting around bord rather than being constructive because you convince yourself that without money/with work tomorow that you can't do anything! And even being able to see that this is what i do, i still carry on doing it, telling my self i'll change it in a couple of days once i have been paid! And so the cycle continues. I think it is a symptom of a society which is a mix between the need for instant gratification, paradoxicly, always waiting for a REAL improvement such as not having to work everyday for 40 years to put food on the table and a roof over your head. Anyway should go now, got to get on with waiting for payday, it will all be better then!

My point, not very well put was that Ardel O'Hanlen has gone from 'Father Ted', which was great, to 'My Hero' which is awful. My point was more that BBC1 took someone who was great, stuck him in a poor sitcom, and now he's a bit shit. Hope this clears the matter up.

Now some may be a bit contriversial, and you may disagree with me BUT remember this is just from my point of view and you are more than welcome to suggest changes or give me a pursuasive argument why any should be droped. I am a reasonable man and will give any comment due consideration.
Here goes:

1) Religion in its current state. Start of with the big one! My reasoning is that although a belief system is important to a lot of people and has been important to human development, in the current climate of the World it is mixed with politics, which is wrong on many, many levels. The collective mixed group of people in a country should not have decisions based on one persons beleif systems, even if the majority agree. Your spiritual belefs should be a personal thing.

2) Unnecisary poverty. Dont need to go in to any depth. People starving when there is easly enough to around, and the fat countrys could still stay fat is just beyond comprehention to me.

3) Oil. Bit of a boring one, but if people invested as much time, money and effort on finding a viable renewable energy sourse we would have a much cleaner and better world and i have a sneeky suspistion there would be a little less bloodshed!

4) Obese People in revealing clothes. If you want to wear that crop top, lose a bit of weight! Dont punish us because you eat ice cream for breakfast and butter your bacon.

5) Pikeys. Kids walking around drinking cider, wearing Burbury, shooting at Pigions with BB guns, and generaly having no sence of shame or feelings at all it seem. When i were a lad, in the 80's (not that long ago) i got up to mishchief but if i did anything abit boarder line i felt guilt, what with being human, but they seem to have lost there humanity which worries me slightly. And if i wanted to drink at 16 i'd find a pub that excepted fake NUS cards!

6) Rubbish BBC1 Sitcoms. From 'Father Ted' to 'My Hero' in one easy step downwards. 'Last of the Summer Wine' or as i call it 'Old out of work actor retirement scheme' and don't get me started on 'the Vicar of Dibbley', the characters are ever so slightly one dimentional "I've got an idea, some bloke says 'No alot, but then says yes! Genius!".

7) The trend toward effeminate looking men. Oh yeh he might look pritty like a girl and spend longer on his hair than you, but not much use if you get attacked by a wild dog, or are trapped under something heavy is he?!

8) Spiders. Pointless killing machines. People keep them as pets? Really?! 'Oh he's lovely, those cute little fangs, red blood cell destroying enzymes, 8 georgious eyes' What a nasty piece of work. There place in the food chain is pointless, in England they eat flys, get rid of them and Frogs can take there place, a marked improvement!

9) Grey Represive Skys. A northern European phenominon. Low grey skys but no rain to clear them away so they stay for 8 months of the year!

10) Top 10 lists

My top 10 good thing about the World coming soon....

 Comments

Drinking too much is bad for you

I know what your thinking, what a load of rubbish, and i am inclined to agree. Having said that after 5 days of drink i would have to say i feel a bit worse for ware. The problem with working in a big company is that it is always someones leaving doo, or birthday and the problem with generaly getting on with most people is that you are expected to go to all these events. To be fair its better than never getting invited (i feel bad for those people, not bad enough to invite them, but i do feel bad) but it does mean spending all your money down the pub rather than on the more important stuff, like food and vital opperations, and you do start to feel rough so oftern that you forget what not having a hangover or being drunk feels like. So i have desided to have a de-tox week to allow myself to recover. I'll let you know how i do. I'm sure you will have a good laugh when i give up after a day! Not that im a pessamist!

BUT while watching the football last night the worlds most irritating commentator, Clive Tilsley, kept on making cricket references with regards to the football match. Things along the line of 'Facing a free kick from Lampard is like facing a ball from Shane Warn' and 'with the spin he put on that cross, he must have shined on side of the ball, likr Triscothic'. What a w**ker! Is he that short of intresting thing to say that he has to pull up bad similiies of anything slightly topical? I cant wait untill the next election 'He put more spin on that than Charles Clark on the I.D card issue' I think he should be removed as a football commintator and given a job writing banner headlines for the tabloids, where he would make less of an impact.

I didn't get up to much this weekend. I started it off with a bang by throwing peanuts at a picture of John Malcovich in a pub, which was very nice. I then went to a hotel bar with a friend, who pretended to know the person who's birthday party it was. It always supprises me how people in England are generaly too polite to confront people they don't know, even if it is at there party?! I stayed over my friends, discussed cat nicknames (my peronal favorate rhyming with poodle i.e noodle, woodle, toodle ect...) Then on sataday watched 'Back to the future 3', which only worked as a film because of the Delorian. This is because the exciting climax of the films, trying to get the car to 88mph would only work with a car made of stainless steel! It wouldn't even work with an Escort. "Marty, we need to get to 88!...oh youve done it quite easely". And i just got a txt from one of my favorate people in the world (a Laydee), huh who said playing hard to get only works for women. Textbook.

Today at work we had a few dicusions, about all sorts. I thought i would share some valid points that were rased. First of all, now that the death penalty for treason has been removed officialy in England (Though it hasn't been in use for 50 odd years) can we start doing daring things like putting stamps on upside down on letters and defacing coins, which would previously ended with our hanging? I think we can! I just rememberd that i have been in several tourist destinations, such as Wookie Hole in Somerset, you can put a coin in a machine and watch it press an image of something (a traction engine, something like that) onto the coin. Did this not count as multi treason? I would be interested to hear from anyone with a law degree. Also do you think the Queen would ever get in the boxing ring to prove herself? I recon crazy old Don King would have a field day. She could fight the guy in Australia, who is the actual heir to the throne. I saw a documentry with Tony Robinson. Anyway i think we are all in agrement that 24 hour licencing is a good thing.

I am Chris and i am a 23 year lod bloke living in sunney Brighton on the south coast of England. I work in an office, with paper and stuff, enjoy football, music, reading and art. Sounds a bit pretensious but i also like booze, women (however rare!) and having a laugh with friends. Thats the intro over just to give a background on me. This is certainly a bit of an egotistical thing to do isn't it?! But if its good enough for everyone elde, its good enough for me!
